Learning is change of behavior. From negative become positive after learning. (Lazy become diligent, good become better). If there is no better change, it means there’s no learning process occur.

Surface Learners
-swimmer on surface of water, just seeing fishes (water means lessons, materials, theories)
-minimalist of need, spirit, curiosity, interest, intention
-drive on the road (slow, has a speed restriction and many odds)

Deep Learners
-diver in bottom of deep seabed, finding pearls
-maximalist of need, spirit, curiosity, interest, intention
-drive on high way (a little bit faster but still has a speed restriction)

-writer

Achiever Learners
-explorer in under bottom of deep seabed
-unlimited of need, spirit, curiosity, interest, intention
-racing area (the speed is unlimited)

PSYCHOLOGICAL DIMENSION OF HUMAN IN QUR’AN

  1. AL-JASD (BODY) ARE:
  1. biological/physical/physiological dimension
  2. outer performance of human
  3. medium “case” of human personality
  4. made of materials: water and soil (waja’alna minal maa’i kulla syai’in harrin/ waAllahu kholaqokum minal tsurobi tsuma minal nuthfah)
  5. visible/touchable/measurable
  6. organs : inner and outer
  7. need : food, drink, rest, reproduction
  8. grow : embrio  baby  old  death

Task of Learning: keep it healthy, strong, normal/functional for learning

  1. AN-NAFS ARE:
  1. emotional dimension
  2. personal/ subjective
  3. irrational/illogical
  4. imitative/mystical
  5. uncritical/unscientific
  6. unstable/changeable
  7. level of nafs: Nafs imaroh= which always asks to do bad things/negative
Nafs lawwamah= stable attitude, sometimes bad sometimes good, sometimes negative sometime positive
Nafs muthmaimah= stable on positive things

Task of Learning: Self identification  treatment  promotion  establishment  emotional intelligent

  1. Al-Aql / intellect are:

  1. intellectual dimention
  2. critical
  3. objective/impersonal
  4. realistic
  5. logical/rational
  6. creative
  7. scientific

Task of learning: identification, treatment, promotion (wa yatafakkaruna fi kholqis saamawati wal ardh

  1. AL-QOLB/ HEART ARE:

  1. central personality of human
  2. place of healthy mental (illa inna fil jasad mudhghotan idza fasadat fasadal jasal kulluhu wa idza shol’ati sholamal jasad, kulluhu ala wahiyal qolb . Remember, in the body theres a clod of blood. If it’s good, all the body will be good. If it’s bad, all the body will be bad. It is QOLB)
  3. place of believe in God/ faith in God (al imaanu hunaa da asyaro ila shodr. Prophet Mohammad said “faith is in here” while pint his chest/qolb)
  4. place of psychological peace (illa bidzikrillahi tathmainul quluub huwalladzi anzalassakinata fi qulubil mu’miniin. Remember to Allah, your heart will be peace. He is the One who gives a peace to Moslem heart)
  5. Place of true knowledge from God (nazala bihirruhul imanu ala qolbika bilhaq. Jibril delivered (Qur’an) to your heard by haq)

Task of learning: keep it pure by remembering and following God guidance, spiritual intelligence and healthy

  1. Ar-Ruuh/ soul are
  1. Godly character (illahiyah)
  2. Eternal
  3. Holly
  4. Created in the form of light alike an angel
  5. Constantly in goodness
  6. Top secret of God
Qulir ruuhi min amri robbi wa ma uwtitum minal ilmi illa qoliila. Said, ruuh is my God secret. You will be given the knowledge about it just a little

Task of learning: keep it pure and holy

  1. AL-FITRAH ARE:
  1. fundamental structure of human
  2. basic pattern of human creation
  3. unity religious
  4. religious/ faith in transcendental reality
(kullu mauluudin yuulada alal fithrah. Every children are born in fitrah)
